Established in 2008, Robotics Connection is a leading educator in robotics, coding and other technologies with one of the longest track records in Singapore.

 

We offer a variety of enrichment courses, holiday camps and special workshops for all ages, from children, teens to adults.

SPIKE Prime Camp
Ages 9+

  • Introduction to Lego SPIKE Prime robotics.

  • Build and program robots with colorful Lego elements and a drag-and-drop Scratch-based programming software.

  • Learn the basics of movement and sensors. 

  • Learn and apply engineering design concepts, develop problem-solving and basic coding skills.

3D Modelling & Printing
Camp 1 & 2
Ages 8+

  • Introduction to the fundamentals of three-dimensional design and printing.

  • Develop understanding of design thinking and key 3D design considerations.

  • Learn to use Tinkercad, a 3D design program.

  • Design and print interesting items.

  • Sign up for Camp 2 to pick up more advance techniques in 3D modelling and extrusion after completing Camp 1.

Robot Inventor Camp
Ages 10+

  • Learn to construct and code robots using block-based coding or Python text-based coding.

  • Build and experiment with different robots to carry out a variety of tasks and missions.

  • Develop understanding of both engineering and coding concepts

  • Foster creativity, problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

Arduino Robotics &
C++ Coding Camp
Ages 11-16

  • Introduction to Arduino micro-controller.

  • Programming Arduino using Scratch.

  • Introduction to C++ programming.

  • ​Introduction to basic electronics components.

  • Programming Arduino with electronic sensors and actuators (motors, buzzers and displays).

  • Build an obstacle avoidance robot.

Scratch Coding Camp
Ages 7+

  • Coding Camp I (ages 7 to 9)

  • Introduction to coding using MIT Scratch and Google Blocky codes.

  • Learn coding concepts, such as user inputs, broadcast, loops, decisions, and sensors.

  • Coding Camp II (ages 9+, or those who have completed Scratch Coding Camp I)

  • Design and code mathematics and real-life problems using Scratch:

  • Geometry concepts through coding 

  • Home Automation

  • Car Movement Simulation 

  • Artificial Intelligence with Scratch: Image and Text Recognition.

Mobile App Coding Camp
Ages 10+

  • Learn the basics of app design using MIT’s App Inventor software

  • Develop your own apps that may be downloaded to Androids or Apple devices

  • Create game apps, drawing apps, Math apps, App to control a robot,
    App using the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.)

  • Finally, create an app of choice with
    your own ideas

  • Must have experience in coding (Scratch and Python or Lego SPIKE Prime/Robot Inventor/EV3)

Childrens Worklab and Robotics Connection Xplorers Camp Summer 2024 Holiday Camps.png

Xplorers Camp
Ages 6+

  • Children will work on fun and hands-on Lego robotics projects in the morning, and creative animation projects in the afternoon;

  • They will learn to weave stories using a storyboard and Lego elements as props;

  • Once they complete their planning and set-up, they will try their hands making a movie with the Stop Motion software and pick up various animation skills while bringing their stories to life!

Robocamp Apprentice
Ages 4-7

  • This hands-on camp, offered in conjunction with Children's Worklab, will provide children a fundamental understanding of Lego Robotics.

  • Children will first build a robot with Lego, and then learn to do basic programming to make it perform assigned functions on a graphical and easy-to-understand, kids-friendly interface.

  • We offer different themes per camp week in order of challenge for you to choose from.

Robocamp Junior/Senior
Ages 7-13

  • Children will gain a good understanding in Lego Robotics, from design, construction and engineering to coding and programming concepts, through 100% hands-on projects.

  • They will build and code interesting Lego robots that perform different functions.

  • As children tackle more and more complicated projects over the course of the camp, they will gain competence in both engineering and coding, learn through creative play, trial and error, plus develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills, while having fun.
