  • For ages 6+, preferably with experience in our Lego Engineering courses.

  • Total of 8 sessions per course.

  • 2 hours per session.

  • Develop building skills and an understanding of simple coding concepts.

  • Use Funbots, Lego WeDo and Lego Mindstroms NXT.

Level 2 / 2A
Beginner
Ages 8+
$510 for 8 sessions

  • For ages 8+, or for those who have completed Level 1 course.

  • Total of 8 sessions per course.

  • 2 hours per session.

  • Build intermediate robotics models using Lego Mindstroms NXT and programming with NXT-G software.

  • Build robots with different sensors and program them to move in different directions and respond to sensor inputs.

Intermediate to Advance
Ages 9-10 (completed Level 2)
$510 for 8 sessions

  • For ages 9 to 10 who have completed Level 2 course.

  • Total of 8 sessions per course.

  • 2 hours per session.

  • Build more complicated robots and program them to respond to multiple sensors, using Lego Mindstroms NXT programming blocks.

Advanced Project / Young Inventor
Ages 9-10 (completed Level 3)
$510 for 8 sessions

  • For ages 9 to 10 who

    • have completed Level 3 course; 

    • ​have knowledge of key Lego Mindstroms NXT robotics parts;

    • can program NXT-G independently using Common Palette Blocks;

    • can attend on a regular basis.

  • Total of 8 sessions per course.

  • 2 hours per session.

  • Design and create own robot using Lego Mindstroms NXT, complete with a brief introduction and video presentation of the project.

SPIKE Prime Beginner
Ages 9+ (completed Level 4)
$570 for 8 sessions

  • For ages 9+, or those who have completed Level 4.

  • An introduction to Lego SPIKE Prime system.

  • Build and program simple robots, using the SPIKE Prime app.

  • Apply knowledge of force, color and ultrasonic sensors.

  • For those who have completed Level 6.

  • Design, build and program own robot, using SPIKE Prime basic and expansion sets

  • Meet criteria in terms of size and number of sensors used.

  • Apply engineering concepts in robot design.

  • Present project in a video recording.

  • Program simple robotics movements using EV3 sensors.

  • For ages 11+ who have completed Level 8 course and keen to explore advance Lego Mindstroms EV3 models.

  • Total of 8 sessions per course.

  • Build EV3 robots with multiple sensors and more complex mechanical designs.

  • Program with advance EV3 commands.

  • Program line following and obstacle avoidance robots.

Ages 12+ (completed Level 9)

  • For ages 12+ who are keen to develop their programming skills and able to work independently.

  • Total of 8 sessions per course.

  • 2 hours per session.

  • Design, build and program own Lego Mindstroms EV3 robot to perform specific tasks.

  • Prepare an introduction and video presentation of the project.​

Ages 12+ (completed Level 10)
$570 for 8 sessions

  • For ages 12+ who are keen to develop their programming skills.

  • Total of 8 sessions per course.

  • 2 hours per session.

  • Programming tracks include:

    • mOwayWorld programming for mOway mini-robots;

    • Scratch programming for mOway or Lego Mindstroms NXT robots;

    • Robot for Lego Mindstroms NXT and EV3;

    • Arduino Robotics and C++ programming;

    • Raspberry Pi programming, using Python and Scratch.
